What is new or different this year compared to the previous edition?

  • No price increase, the registration amounts remain the same as those of the previous year.
  • Children up to 12 years old can participate in the 5 km on Sunday for free. Participants older than 12 years pay € 5,= for this distance. This amount includes a pin pin after completing the tour.
  • The daily consumption voucher will be discontinued. We had to make the choice between increasing the registration fee or canceling the consumption voucher. We chose the latter, because we think it is important that everyone can participate in our event.
  • The last part of the routes will lead to the finish line every day via the “Via Hensenius”.
  • Among the first 250 pre-registrations, a gift voucher of € 50 from Het Loopcentrum will be raffled.
  • Your pin pin will be handed out on presentation of your starting ticket on the last day you participate.
  • From this edition it is not possible to start earlier than the start time stated on your ticket.

Dates and distances

The 6th edition of the Multi-Day Walking Event Venray (MWV) will take place on 30 and 31 May and 1 June 2025. MWV takes place annually in the weekend of week 22. So make a note in advance:

In 2026 Friday 5, Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June.
In 2027 Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 June.
In 2028 Friday 2, Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June.

During the walking event, participants can decide for themselves how many days they want to walk and what distance they want to cover each day. This can therefore vary from day to day. This flexibility makes the MWV extremely suitable as training for the Four Days Marches of Nijmegen or one of the many Kennedy marches, such as the Kennedy March of Someren. In addition, the MWV is also attractive for recreational walkers who just want to walk 10 or 20 kilometers. In short, the MWV is for everyone who loves walking, from young to old and from beginners to experienced runners.

Participants are free to decide how many days they want to walk and which distance on each of these days. That might be different each day. They can vary their combination each day or pick one of the (other) standard distances. Walkers have complete freedom of choice.

This flexibility makes the MWV the ideal practice event for the four-day marches in Apeldoorn or Nijmegen, or for one of the many Kennedy marches. But the MWV is also attractive to everyone who just wants to walk 10 or 20 kilometres at a leisurely pace. The MWV is for everyone who loves walking, for people of all ages, and for beginners as well as advanced and experienced walkers.

On Sunday there is the possibility to walk a 5 km route. Children up to the age of 12 can participate in this distance for free. Participants older than 12 years pay € 5,= for this distance. This amount includes a pin after completing the tour.
