Venray<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Venray (Venroj or Rooj) is a municipality in the Dutch province of Limburg. The municipality has more than 43,000 inhabitants and has an area of 146.03 km\u00b2. The core of Venray is located 36 kilometers south of Nijmegen and 22 kilometers northwest of Venlo. Since 1 January 2010, Venray has been a rural municipality with an urban core and thirteen village centres around it. About 30,000 people live in the urban core. The remaining 13,500 inhabitants live in the thirteen villages (varying from 200 to over 2000 inhabitants per village). The 7th edition is from 5 to 7 June.<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]The event is being organised by experienced walkers and will present participants with the various landscapes of Venray: woods, sand drifts, fields, marshes, stream valleys, meadows, Peel landscapes and Maas banks, but also wide meadows and farmlands. This variety of landscapes makes Venray an ideal destination for walkers.<\/p>\n

The event is unique as it presents the walker with the opportunity to walk a different distance each day. The distances vary between 5 and 50 kilometers. It is also possible to participate for just one of two days. Thanks to this unique format, the event is a perfect preparation for the bigger walking events later this year. Distances<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]There are 6 distances, i.e.: 10 \u2013 15 \u2013 20 \u2013 30 \u2013 40 and 50 km per day. All distances start and end at the Schouwburgplein in Venray. On Sunday there is also the possibility to walk a distance of 5 km.
